How to use Invoice Generator

  1. Fill in your business details, your client and the line items — the A4 preview updates as you type.
  2. Set the currency, VAT / tax rate and any discount; the subtotal, tax and total are worked out for you.
  3. Press “Print / Save as PDF” and choose “Save as PDF” in your browser’s print dialog.

How do I save the invoice as a PDF?

Use Print / Save as PDF, then choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog. You get a document you can download and send yourself; the tool does not email invoices or collect payment.

How are tax and discounts calculated?

Each line is quantity multiplied by unit price. The lines make the subtotal, a discount reduces that subtotal, and the selected tax rate is applied to the discounted amount.

Can I return to my invoice draft?

The draft is saved in this browser’s local storage when storage is available. It is not synced to another device or browser, and clearing site data removes it. Download an issued invoice rather than relying on the draft as your only record.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your device and is not uploaded to a server. You do not have to take that on trust — the monitor directly beneath the tool reads your browser’s own record of every request this tab made while your file was open.
