Frequently asked questions

Is the cropped content gone for good?

No — cropping sets each page’s visible area (its CropBox), hiding what lies outside. The content still exists in the file, and another PDF tool could restore it.

My pages have different sizes — what happens?

The margins are measured from each page’s own edges, so every page is trimmed by the same distance, whatever its size.
