How is this different from “PDF to JPG / PNG”?
That tool photographs whole pages. This one digs out the individual image files embedded inside the PDF — a photo placed in a report comes out on its own, at the resolution it was stored at.
Why did it find no images?
The pages may be pure vector graphics or text, which contain no embedded pictures. In that case use “PDF to JPG / PNG” to capture whole pages as images instead.
