How to use Crop Image

Does cropping reduce image quality?

Cropping keeps the selected pixels at their original dimensions. PNG output adds no lossy encoding; JPG and WEBP can introduce compression changes. Animated images become a still image.

Can I crop with the keyboard?

Yes. Focus the crop selection or a corner and use the arrow keys. Hold Shift to move ten pixels. You can also enter exact crop coordinates and dimensions.

What are the limits?

Choose an image up to 20 MB and 24 million pixels. Larger images should be resized before cropping. Photos stay on your device.
