Frequently asked questions

How can anything go “below” existing content?

It can’t on the original page — PDFs paint in order. For letterhead mode we rebuild each targeted page: the overlay is drawn first, then your original page on top. Those rebuilt pages lose interactive elements like links and form fields.

Can I use a multi-page overlay?

Only the overlay’s first page is used, applied to every page you select — the letterhead/stamp use case. For combining whole documents page-by-page, use Interleave PDF Pages instead.
