Can this open RAR, 7Z or password-protected ZIPs?
No. This tool supports ordinary unencrypted ZIP files. Split archives, ZIP64 and symbolic links are not supported.
How large can a ZIP be?
Up to 25 MB compressed, 200 entries, 20 MB per expanded file and 50 MB expanded in total. Excessive expansion ratios and unsafe paths are rejected. File sizes and CRC checks are verified during extraction.
Are extracted files opened automatically?
No. Files are downloaded and never executed or displayed as active HTML. Review downloaded files before opening them.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your device and is not uploaded to a server. You do not have to take that on trust — the monitor directly beneath the tool reads your browser’s own record of every request this tab made while your file was open.
