What limits apply?

Use up to 200 files, at most 20 MB each and 50 MB combined. The finished ZIP must fit the 25 MB archive limit and safe expansion rules. Very repetitive content can exceed expansion limits; choose smaller files if that happens.

Will a ZIP always make files smaller?

No. Photos, videos and existing compressed files often shrink very little. A ZIP is also useful for bundling files into one download.

Are my files uploaded?

No. ZIP creation runs in a cancellable worker in your browser.

Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your device and is not uploaded to a server. You do not have to take that on trust — the monitor directly beneath the tool reads your browser’s own record of every request this tab made while your file was open.
