Starter workflow

Report for print

Take a working report and give it the small finishing touches that make a printed copy easier to use.

The steps

Run the tools in this order and review each result as you go.

  1. Step 1

    Add Page Numbers to PDF

Make a long PDF easier to follow: add page numbers where you want, in the format you choose.

  2. Step 2

    Add Header & Footer

Put a title, company name or page count at the top or bottom of every PDF page.

  3. Step 3

N-up PDF (Multiple Pages per Sheet)

Fit 2, 4 or 9 PDF pages on one A4 sheet for handy printouts, slide handouts and less paper.

Why this sequence

Keep the job moving.

The sequence adds structure first, then puts the finished pages into a print-friendly layout.

Compatible steps receive the previous result directly in the browser. If a step needs a fresh file, the workflow tells you before you begin.

Privacy by design

Your files stay in the tab.

This starter processes files on your device. There is no account and saved workflow definitions stay in this browser.

Questions about this workflow

Can I change the report between steps?

Each step produces a result you can inspect before continuing, so you remain in control of the final print copy.

What does N-up PDF do?

It places multiple document pages on each sheet, which can reduce paper use when the layout suits the report.
